Yes, I know all about his situation and don’t excuse any of it. It’s not looking past facts, it’s appreciating music lol. I’m a producer myself so it might just be a musician thing but I can separate the man from the music and compare and contrast. Even Kendrick promoted his shit on Twitter (no publicist) and he rarely promos anyone outside TDE. His shit is a case study. It’s especially painful knowing he was tryna change and be a better person and could’ve been the face of ex absusers that have grown past it. With all the charity shit he was already tryna do, I’d doubt he wouldn’t be down to be the voice and face of an anti-abuse coalition.
